Each and every piece of jewelry contain a lifetime of memories and emotions.
Let us take care of your jewels so that they remain precious to you over time.
Garo Boyadjian jewels are a timeless investment, taking care of them will maintain their radiant shine and timeless luster throughout your lifetime. Our 18k fine gold jewelry is resistant to rust, tarnish, and corrosion, however, with constant wear, it may pile up a thin layer of dirt, body oils, or grease. We invite you to care for your jewelry and preserve its beauty.
Caring for your gold jewelry
Although it’s extremely durable, gold is still a precious metal and can be harmed by acids and harsh chemicals. Did you know gold has an enemy? It’s chlorine, which is why we advise you to take your jewelry off before going into a hot tub or a swimming pool or before cleaning. We also recommend you remove your jewelry before taking part in harsh activities since it can be scratched, scraped and stones can fall out. This especially applies to pieces worn on hands and wrists.
Cleaning your gold jewelry
To ensure a lifelong shine of your favorite gold jewelry follow these few easy steps:
1- Soak your jewelry in a solution of mild detergent and lukewarm water for about 10-15 minutes (you can soak it up to three hours, in case your jewelry got really dirty)
2- Scrub away the dirt using a soft-bristled brush or a cotton swab
3- In case your jewelry has stones, wipe it with a soft cloth after dipping it in a solution and then scrub the dirt away
4- When the dirt is finally gone, rinse your jewelry with warm water and blot dry it with a soft and dry lint-free cloth.
